"My friend, Shirley Straight, and I went to visit Linda when she was in the hospital a few weeks before her passing. We were worried about the visit because we didn't know what to say to her. Linda smiled gently at us and told us she spoke to her children about them accepting what was happening, and that she and Reggie were also accepting of the situation. She comforted us!
When we left the hospital, Linda gave us hugs and had a calming smile as she said goodbye."
